Loadhog goes down under with pioneering technology

Amcor, one of Australia's largest glass manufacturers, has agreed a multi million pound deal with a Yorkshire based company to use it’s innovative packaging product throughout the business.
Loadhog, based in South Yorkshire, will supply Amcor with its revolutionary Smartstak system, which comprises the Smartpad, an injection moulded, waved edge layer pad and a spring loaded Smartframe that work together to prevent bottle packs collapsing during transportation or storage.
After pilot testing Smartstak, Amcor specified the system as the standard method of transporting containers for its Australian and New Zealand operations.
Smartstak operations manager Dave Arthur, said: "These sales are a major coup for Loadhog and well worth our investment. What is especially pleasing is that this customer sees Smartstak as the standard for transporting glass bottles, which is a major step towards establishing the system as the industry standard, not just for Amcor.”
