An aquarium and pond supply company has been bought up by a Bradford-based rival, in a move which will save 14 jobs.
Yorkshire's Aqualine acquired the retail section of Britain's Aquatic Superstore, a Bolton-based supplier. KPMG administrators said the sale was achieved with a view to run the firm as a going concern.
The move is expected to develop Aqualine's ambitions to grow, and is hoped to create opportunities in the area.
Peter Hemmingway, of Aqualine, told the business: "I am looking forward to welcoming customers both old and new and providing new investment into the business in due course to help achieve growth."
Paul Flint, joint administrator and KPMG restructuring associate partner, said "well supported local business" would keep trading despite "challenging economic conditions".
