Buyer needed to save bakery firm

Ailing bakers Ainsleys could be transformed into a "great business" again were a suitable buyer found, administrators say.
The Leeds-based family business, which employs 300 people in 29 shops across West Yorkshire, has suffered as a result of intense competition in the last few years, but has so far managed to avoid mass closures and redundancies.
Administrators Grant Thornton said investment could make the company great again, but added the current economic outlook meant they could not be sure of finding a buyer.
"We really do think there's a good business here and and a business that can be taken to the next level," spokesman Joe McLean said.
"They've been trying to improve and have been refining over a period of time but they've not really had the resources to do that to the extent they'd like.
"They're not selling enough and making enough profit. As a consequence there's been a shortage of capital to make an investment because they've not been making money."
