Graduate fair returns to Yorkshire

The Yorkshire Autumn Graduate Recruitment Fair is set to take place next month for the eighth time, with national employers taking part.
On November 4th and 5th the event will take place in the University of Sheffield's Octagon Centre where graduates and final year students will be able to meet various employers and learn about current developments in the graduate job market.
National, regional and international jobs will be on offer in sectors such as engineering, retail, business and management as well as IT.
"Visitors to the fair can meet a different set of employers each day and can ask questions in an informal environment," Michelle Dexter, the fair's manager, commented.
She noted that all the companies involved are actively recruiting.
The event is sponsored by gradcracker.co.uk, graduatesyorkshire.co.uk and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
In recent news, honorary graduate of the Sheffield institution and "world-renowned composer" Trevor Pinnock CBE won the Baroque Instrumental Gramophone Award at the Classic FM Gramophone Awards.
