Harrogate hosts CIH Conference and Exhibition

This year's Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Conference and Exhibition was held in Harrogate, with some high profile exhibitors in attendance.
Speakers included housing and planning minister John Healey, who delivered his first public speech to the crowd.
He had been in the job for just 11 days before addressing the crowd, who were on hand to grill him on his new position and prove just how difficult it will be.
Other exhibitors included Savills, British Sky Broadcasting, the National House-Building Council and the Seddon Group.
Top chef Simon Rimmer was present to provide the delegates with something to eat, cooking up luxury three-course meals.
Mr Healey became the fourth housing minister in two years after taking over the reins from Margaret Beckett in the recent cabinet reshuffle.
Prior to that, Caroline was at the helm of the department, although the Don Valley MP recently resigned from the cabinet.
