Pace announce "significant upgrade"

It seems Pace is still setting it, as the firm has announced a "very significant upgrade" on its current performance expectations for 2009.
The firm - which is a developer of digital TV technologies for the global payTV industry - released preliminary results back on March 3rd.
Since then, Pace says demand for its technology has increased across the group's portfolios and markets.
The firm has witnessed a strong market demand and enhanced competitive position, which has resulted in extra orders from new and existing customers coming in.
Pace is also reaping the benefits of cost cutting and efficiency measures, the firm adds.
A company release read: "Consequently, Pace now expects that its performance will result in a very significant increase on management's expectations for 2009 and also that it will be in a strong position as it enters 2010."
In March, Pace was honoured as the winner of the 2008 annual International Trade Awards, in recognition of its approach to expansion.
