Weather Lottery considers move to PLUS market
Freitag, 1 Mai 2009
The Weather Lottery is considering switching from its listing on AIM to the PLUS market, it has emerged.
The Leeds-based company revealed how its existing listing was not proving cost-effective, with current economic conditions not helping the situation.
"While considerable progress has been made in establishing these services much has still to be done to improve, expand and enhance them," said Keith Milhench, Weather Lottery's chief executive.
A new secondary lottery has been launched, which Mr Milhench hopes will give societies a larger return and encourage others to join.
The firm reports that the number of enquiries it is receiving is healthy, with shareholder value to be expanded by continuing to increase business.
The company helps raise funds for charity, education, sporting organisations and other charities by offering a complimentary lottery platform.
It offers to do all the administration for the organisation, full monthly accounting and promotional materials which include an online HSBC entry system.
